The 391 semi-automatic family is expanding. Based on 40 years experience in manufacturing over two and a half million semi-automatic gas operated shotguns, the new A391 3.5 Xtrema is born. Designed and conceived for the use of Super Magnum 3.5” (89mm) cartridges, it’s also capable in functioning with lighter cartridges.

Trigger guard in fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer:
- Enlarged trigger guard opening for ease of trigger access even with the use of gloves
- Elegant blending of trigger guard with the receiver
- Self lubrication of the trigger plate group
- Thermal stability for improved “feel” in cold weather
- Excellent color retention on a part typically subject to wear and tear
Stock in fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer:
- Produced in durable, resistant, anti-scratch and comfortable material
- Boasts special plastic inserts on the grip areas of the stock and fore-end to improve hold and absorb vibrations
Recoil absorbing Gel-Tek Recoil Pad:
- Reduces felt recoil
- Efficiently reduces vibrations transmitted to the shooter
- Eliminates rubbing of the stock against the cheek
- Is interchangeable with extreme ease
Designed to accept optics or other aiming systems:
The receiver is designed to accept (with a Weaver-Beretta base) optics and other aiming system.

Geometric locking system through a rotating bolt with two locking lugs:
- Maximum safety and reliability even with heavier cartridges
Recoil reduction system (located inside the stock):
- Counters the rearward forces generated by shooting and greatly reduces the felt recoil
Bolt travel recoil absorber:
- Reduces the stress caused by the breech bolt’s impact and reduces vibrations transmitted to the shooter, prolonging the life of the firearm.
