Creating An Account
Creating an online account on The Basement isn’t required to explore the site, but it will allow you to take advantage of a number of benefits. Not only is shopping and checking out made easier as a result of registering, but the more you use the site, the more personal and convenient the experience will become over time.
Creating an account also allows you to maintain your information with us. Returning customers enjoy a saved address book, the ability to review order history, check current orders and easily edit billing and shipping information.
Forgotten Your Password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can have it emailed to the address listed on the account. Simply go to the Forgotten Password page and follow the instructions.
If you are still having trouble, please call customer assistance on 021-322-980. We will look up your account and forward it to the email on file. If your email has changed, we will verify your identity, change your email address and forward you your password.
Placing Orders
To place an order, simply browse through our range of products and add your selection to the shopping cart. To finalize the order, proceed to the checkout, and complete the shipping and payment details. You will receive an order confirmation email once the sale has been completed.
Order Confirmation Emails
Immediately after you have successfully placed your order with The Basement, you will receive an email that contains information regarding the details of your order. The order confirmation email is your receipt that can be printed for your records. The order confirmation email includes your order number (the same number that appeared on our website after successful submission of an order), the details of the products and corresponding prices, any promotional coupons, your deliver-to and bill-to information, and the delivery method.
If there are any errors to your order, please contact us immediately. Only orders with a "paid" status will be processed for delivery.
